StoryLand/Santa’s Village:
by Guest Dad Blogger D.Anthony Sullivan

NOTE: Driving up to StoryLand/Santa’s village. it is important to stop at Harrison’s for Roast Beef on the way.

My wife, daughter and I stayed at Christmas Farm Inn in Jackson NH. This is a quaint little Inn, it’s more of an estate with a main building, pool, spa, indoor pool+ Jacuzzi and gym. The breakfast is to die for and included, the dinner is excellent, but pricey, for a poor guy like me/ The gym is very good and the indoor pool is very relaxing. The view of the surrounding mountains from the front porch is spectacular. There’s also a good fire pit, my daughter loved running around in circles on the lawn. It is a 2 mile drive to Story Land.

StoryLand was a blast even though the two best rides weren’t functional when we were there, including that Egyptian one where they spray you. My daughter loved all the rides and the characters.

Santa’s Village in over an hour drive up the 302. Beautiful drive, like really beautiful. Most people like it more than Story Land, I kinda liked Story Land a little more, of course I like Cheap Trick more than U2 so I’m weird.

Both parks are ideal for spending a day, like 1 day, but a pretty full day also you can spend a few hour and still get a lot out of the trip.

We ate at the Muddy Moose. It’s an actual restaurant, not a moose.

My daughter is now a proud graduate of whatever they call that thing where you grab all the letters.

Great trip.
