Mirbeau Inn and Spa is located in the Pine Hills in Plymouth Massachusetts and is a true definition of a hidden gem.
Designed to pay homage to the most famous painting by Claude Monet, their design and decor is taken to the next level by their out door restaurant circling a bridge and lily pond mimicking that same painting. Â I have had the good fortune to photograph many places, but here everywhere you turn is a photo opportunity.
The rooms were palatial; with textures, colors and space reflecting an old world European feel.
For dining, Mirbeau boast three locatons; the Bistro and Wine Bar, The Garden Bar and the Aqua Terrace. The menus are always reflective of the seasons, so check their web page.
All are open to the public which makes for a perfect date night get a way.
The Wine Bar
The Garden Bar
Nothing like dining out doors on a Summer evening.
While we did not visit the spa on this trip, I have had family members who have chosen Mirbeau for “Babymoons” and anniversary getaways, all of whom raved about the treatments. Â I’ll just save that experience for another trip.
