A Room with a View…
We were very fortunate during our #Hosted stay at The Nantucket Hotel & Resort to have Room 46 which is known as The Point.
The sunrise was amazing, and the room overlooks views of Jetties Beach, the Brant Point Lighthouse, and the ocean beyond-
The spacious room boasted a King bed, as well as two pull-down Twin beds for guests traveling with children, a wet bar, and a bathroom (with a shower only). Personally I loved having a Keurig.

Comfortable Surroundings…
The vintage fire truck is quite operational and adds to the ambiance around the resort at The Nantucket Hotel & Resort The front porch is perfect for cocktails or desserts anytime, featuring several fire pits for the evening.
Beside the lobby sits the concierge area which doubles as a parlor with a fireplace for games or work. Downstairs holds a billiards table and area dedicated for Monopoly players. You can tell thought went into the design and layout of everything at this resort.

Cocktails by the Fire
Are you even relaxing if you don’t have drinks by the fire in the evening? \
With beautiful porch and fire pits at The Nantucket Hotel & Resort , of course we had to try some of the great seasonal cocktails. If you see Ishmael working, ask him for the secret ingredient in the Madaket Mai Tai!
Brunch…
The best part of waking up at a resort is BRUNCH! The Nantucket Hotel & Resort houses Breeze Restaurant, Nantucket which does an excellent job at all the traditional items, BUT you must get the Lobster Egg Muffin which comes with an egg, lobster salad, applewood-smoked bacon, brie, mini creamer potatoes. It is OBVIOUSLY much better than its drive through window namesake.

Dinner
Always trust a resort that makes their kitchen a priority. Click each photo for the description for Breeze At The Nantucket Hotel dinner items. Of note obviously the Lobster martini and if you are a real foodie and love balanced flavors, these lobster tacos are a must!
Chef Adam Votaw knocked both of these dishes out of the park.

Of note…
The Brant Point Lighthouse is just a 5 minute walk down the street from The Nantucket Hotel & Resort making it perfect for sunrise or sunset photos. We took 50 photos within 15 minutes of one another at sunrise, and it is amazing how different they all are based on the perspective. Brant Point Lighthouse was established in 1746, automated in 1965, and is still in operation. The wreath of flowers is because the last weekend of April is the annual Daffodil Festival – a weekend of events to celebrate springtime awakening on Nantucket Island.
More Great Foodie Finds…
An excellent spot that you must visit for BBQ, drinks and so much more on Nantucket is B-ACK Yard BBQJust a 10 minute walk from The Nantucket Hotel & Resort, there is a lot to like on the menu, but you must get the lobster empanadas and lobster mac and cheese! ALL our photos are HERE. Full menu and drinks list at ackbackyard.com/
ANtoher great place place everyone said I had to try was The Downyflake on Nantucket. Just a 5 minute drive from The Nantucket Hotel & Resort , a quick trip there and back and I was enjoying coffee and donuts on the porch. The coconut was easily my favorite, and the texture actually reminded me of the Maine potato donuts, but a little smaller. Definitely a must visit!
