Born and raised in Albania. Alex went to culinary school, and after working for few years in Albania as a chef, immigrated to Rome, Italy where he worked as a chef until arriving in USA. He has been a chef all his life.
Q1 What is your first or best memory of cooking and who was it with?
This is not my first memory, but it is the best. Cooking with my granddaughter when she was 1 year old, and making rice pilaf for her. She would stay in my arms and look at everything.
Q2 What is your most popular dish?
Salmon Atlantico: Filet of salmon sautéed with creamy Madeira wine, fresh spinach and lobster meat, served with cheese ravioli

Seafood Pescatore
Q4 What do you eat when you are not working/ favorite thing to eat?
Italian bread, feta cheese, olives, and onions with olive oil, and black pepper.
