
One of the top date night destinations in the suburbs is Forge & Vine at The Groton Inn in Groton Massachusetts.





We were lucky to visit right as they were launching their new menu and it didn’t disappoint. Chef Sam Page has been building and developing this menu over two years with customer favorites.



My personal favorites were the Atlantic Salmon Belly Tartare with a little heat, but it was so light and delicate. A must!



I also loved the seafood tower, with two for Tuesdays making oysters a must.
The potato crusted halibut was the biggest surprised and is one of the most popular items on the menu. The quality of product and execution is impressive.
And finally, the bone in woodfired Berkshire pork, stuffed with apples and cheese was definitely something special. I didnt even touch the mustard as the flavors were perfect without it.

Chef Sam is in charge of this open kitchen with a large menu, but he does it so well, crushing a well balanced menu.
Tina from @livetoeatfood loved the Muscles as well as the risotto.
