You know how everyone has a friend who is super picky with Italian Restaurants, and how they say things like “I like the real traditional places.”?
I’m that kind of guy, and A Tavola is that kind of place.
I was totally in heaven shooting and then tasting everything we got.
Antipasti prosciutto de parma / finnochiona / house pickles / ricotta / marinated olives / cannellini bean spread
Bucatini Carbonara prosciutto / guanciale / farm fresh eggs / parmesan
Roasted Eggplant calabrian chili / goat cheese
Corzetti (or Croxetti), small circles of pasta with a flowery decoration stamped on it. It is said that originally the stamp was done by pressing a coin on the pasta.
I often say I can’t wait to go back to great restaurants, but this is one I want to take family and friends to who love super traditional Italian cuisine.
