Where to Go from Influencers In the Know
ALL ABOUT @BostonDateNightGuide

When and why you started blogging under your current handle:
I started blogging two years ago in May of 2018. My Instagram account started in conjunction with my website www.bostondatenightguide.com which was inspired by Kristen Manieiri and an off shoot of what she has done with www.orlandodatenightguide. I love how she has inspired couples, families, friends, etc to connect more, have fun and get out and explore their local restaurants and communities. I wanted to bring something like that to my city. I love the idea of inspiring a fun night out at a new restaurant or fun new experience in your own city and making that easier for people to know about and access.
TOP PICKS
Three seems to be the best number, so what are your top three for the following categories, and feel free to give some insights:
Top 3 Things You Have Ever Eaten:
This is a hard one! I will say I always look forward to cannolis from Modern Pastry (with their espresso martini at Modern Underground), the Feta with sesame and honey and Greek maze at Committee, and seasonally a lobster roll at the Raw Bar in Mashpee.
Top 3 Restaurants Inside Boston:
We always love No. 9 Park for a special date night, Stephanie’s on Newbury for eating outside is a long time favorite of ours, and Eataly for the experience and selection of things to do (cooking classes, drinks, dinner, dessert etc)
Top 3 Restaurants Outside of Boston:
We love a road trip to the Lawn at Castle Hill Inn in Newport (perfect summer spot), Tempo in Waltham for their delicious appetizer and cocktail menu which changes seasonally, Osteria Nino in Burlington for their pizza and Italian dishes.
Top 3 Favorite Restaurant Pages to follow:
I love drooling over the amazing donut creations from blackbird donuts, the fresh breads, pastries and savory brunches at Tatte Bakery, and I also love Truro Vineyards feed.. it is such a cute local cape cod winery and we love that area of the cape so it just makes me think of summer and vacation time when I follow their posts!
Top 3 Favorite Influencers to Follow:
We love Taste of Massachusetts ! it is our favorite resource for all kinds of unique and lesser known local food experiences across the state! ]I also love following Forking with Armani who in addition to being a really genuinely nice person just amazes me with his beautiful food photography (just on his phone!) and incredibly witty puns.
I also love following Chef Joe Gatto and his adventures with his family and at home from scratch cooking (he makes absolutely every ingredient he can from scratch and makes it look easy).
SUPERLATIVES
If someone asked you for a restaurant that would “Even Keep the Inlaws Happy” where would you suggest they go?
I honestly think Legal Seafood is consistently a great spot with lots of locations across the state that are good but our favorite Legal Harborside in the Seaport I think is sure to please all with great Boston Harbor views as well.
What are your “bucket list” items/restaurants to try that you haven’t yet been to?
Still need get to Citrus & Salt for their Chicken and Waffle tacos that look amazing and soft serve mimosas! Their Instagram always has us drooling over these. I also really need to get a Unicorn Taiyaki Ice Cream from Taiyaki NYC in Seaport when I get a chance!
If you were “going to the electric chair” What would your last meal be and from what restaurant?
Well I certainly hope this is not a choice I have to make ever — but it would have to be any pasta dish in the North End. I couldn’t pick just one!
