Massachusetts has some of the country’s most amazing, and fresh, apples. It is a great local product with dozens of applications and is undeniably a healthy treat.

Massachusetts has a close connection with apples as the famed Johnny Appleseed, aka John Chapman, was born on September 26, 1774, in Leominster, Massachusetts and he is even recognized with a visitors and information center.

Here are 21 places where you can pick your own apples and more! As always, we never make you click next, or scroll through a slide show, and yes, all the names AND ADDRESSES are on one page, with links directly to the farms’ Facebook pages.
