It is all about location.
Part of the appeal of Newport is the ocean. Dining outside on the water with the views will make anyone instantly relax.
Because the Newport Marriott is right on the water, having access to dozens of waterfront dining location is choice. Having visited Newport frequently in the past few years, the benefit of staying as close to the water as possible allows for a much easier time planning days to maximize every minute.
The Most Instagram Worthy Lobby
One unexpected surprise in the lobby of the Newport Marriott were the swings and water feature. When I visited I could have sat there all day and relaxed, but since there is so much to do, we only stayed for a few quick pictures.
A quality spa’s is starting to become a necessity in any hotel and resort. The Spa at Newport Marriott wisely offers 25 minute massage packages that allow you to build out and customize your experience. This allows multiple visits during a stay, and happier guests.
The Skiff Bar and Cocktails
The Skiff Bar located on the first floor of the Newport Marriott, has a porch overlooking the water. There is also an indoor outdoor bar and barrel room lounge inside. Day or night, these view are not to be missed.
The Rooms
With three hundred twenty rooms and six different styles, the Newport Marriott can cater to your level of stay. Now, I am one of those people who looks at a room as just a place to sleep, but you can tell my friends (below) loved lounging.
